I love to research and learn new things, and I found a web design software for my Mac that I just love - RapidWeaver. It has user editable pages (once I learned-still learning-the coding part of it), meaning I can put my own logo or graphic on a certain designed page if I wanted thereby avoiding the "do-it-yourself-template" look. I have also researched Search Engine Listings and will add your site to the big search engines for you.
And, there are so many 3rd party designers making add-on's for RapidWeaver, the sky is almost the limit for what we can make for you in this program.

I would love to say "My price is $___ and that is all!" But that may not turn out to be fair to either one of us depending on the amount of work required. So, in researching and figuring out what kind of time it takes me to build a site, I've determined the following:
$225 for the first block of time (*up to15 hours). $30 per hour afterwards.
This includes listing your site on the big search engines.
Given the sites I've done to date, most can be completed within the first block of time. However, there are some that need extra hours of research and work due to the requests of the client and the complexity of the the request. Also, if your site needs a plug-in I do not have, or needs an additional license to use a plug-in, there may be a small charge per plug-in ($5-$45).
Maintenance - Taking Care of the Site
Includes updating, changing graphics, making text changes, adding pages, etc.
$20 per hour (one hour minimum)
Domain and Hosting
I prefer to use Start Logic for hosting my websites. They have proven to be very reliable and have more to offer than I could ever need. Prices for hosting and domains start as low as $5.95
a month.
$142.80 for 2 years - includes domain
$ 83.40 for 1 year - includes domain
$ 6.95 monthly + $30 setup + $6.50 annual domain

If you already have a hosting service, let's be sure to talk about it in advance so I can make sure it will allow me to upload the site to your service.

I reserve the right to refuse to take on any project that I may find offensive or vulgar. I am not saying I will reject everything that does not follow my personal beliefs, but I do retain the right not to subject myself to working on something I find morally reprehensible.
Time billing on work will begin once I get your confirmation to start the project. I will put your site together and then publish it to an alternate address for you to review. Once you have approved your site and hosting has been confirmed, an invoice for your website will be sent to you for payment and the new site can be published with your domain.
